Born from an urban artistic soul, our founder, Stonie Brooks, has always been enriched in creativity. Using art to express herself initially through graphic design now through apparel.

At an early age, Stonie felt like she was different than her peers. She didn’t fit in with any conventional norm and she quickly realized she didn’t have to. Being young, black, and different was perfectly okay. She went against the grain and so does Hipzter.

We are an apparel company that celebrates the unconventional, the unique, and the authentic in the urban community through casual wear. We take pride in inspiring our customers, our hippies, to be as they want to be with no judgement.
